A78 is real data, not a servable factor.
We backfilled ~6 years of real transmission/interconnector
unavailability events for both borders and ran it through our full
validation pipeline - a decisive rejection against forward physical
flow, then a real, FULL-confidence finding against forward
imbalance-price change, then a redundancy check that split the two
borders (DK1 robustly independent, NO2 partially explained by the
price's own mean reversion). Legally clear, but we haven't built it
into a servable factor yet - kept as internal research coverage
pending further evidence, not a legal blocker. Full derivation:
